The National Museum in George Town is both a natural history as well as cultural history museum. The natural history portion of the museum displays fantastic birds and fauna that are native to the Cayman Islands. In addition, the cultural history half of the site demonstrates the lush heritage of the Caymanian people.
The Mission House in Bodden Town provides visitors with the opportunity to see what life was like for the early settlers of the Cayman Islands. The house was used as a home by families, teachers and missionaries in the 1700's.
The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands hosts art from local artists as well as Cuban and Jamaican artists. Admittance is free. The Gallery is open Monday-Friday 10 am-5 pm and Saturdays 10 am-3 pm.
