BATABANO
Merengue sounds wafted down West Bay Road during the Batabano parade. A dancer from one of the Bodden Town troupes noticed a balloon rise up from the gathering onlookers followed by the cries of a young girl. Realizing what had happened, the dancer took the tiara from her hair and put it on the upset girl’s head. Within seconds, the girl was dancing and laughing, her lost balloon a distant memory.
EAST END HOSPITALITY
World Cycling Champion Thor Hushovd's heart was warmed by being surprised by the cheers and waving of the students of East End Primary School as he and the Cayman peloton rode by during Cayman Pro Cycling Camp 2010. Team Garmin-Cervelo were so pleased with their Caymankind experience they will be back in 2011!
