On their way to Grand Cayman for vacation with Kelli’s family, Jeremy had left a few hints for Kelli along the way that something special was about to happen.
"There was a little toy ring in the shower at our hotel in Detroit (our overnight layover) that Kelli noticed but thought nothing of it. Then she found another toy ring at the
Caribbean Club on her dresser...but still figured it was nothing, some kid must have left it."
Jeremy even got Kelli’s family involved in the surprise. At sunset, her two young cousins ran away at the beach and came back with their hands filled with the little toy rings she had been noticing the past couple of days. With that, Jeremy got down on one knee in front of her parents, cousins, aunts and uncles and asked if Kelli would marry him!
While Jeremy and Kelli are planning a wedding back home for April of 2013, they cherish their memories of “paddle boarding, spending time with Kelli's family, and oh yeah - getting engaged at sunset!"
