Sarah and Corbin welcomed 45 family members and friends from the US and England for their Cayman wedding. “The Cayman Islands are such a beautiful place - they are simply indescribable and there is no place on Earth like them. The beaches are pristine, the water is an incredible colour and the people are so friendly. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, have your wedding in the Cayman Islands!”
Before the wedding festivities started the group ventured out to Stingray City for snorkeling among the amazing tropical waters and swimming with the friendly stingrays.
With many guests staying at Plantana Condominiums on Seven Mile Beach, it only made sense to have their wedding ceremony on the beautiful lawn, with the turquoise waters playing backdrop.
To celebrate the unity of their two families, “we added a sand ceremony where we poured white sand and Cayman sand into one container.” Sarah’s mum also gave her kerchiefs (for the happy tears!) that belonged to her mum.
The reception was held on the Sun Terrace of Grand Cayman Beach Suites where Sarah and Corbin danced under the stars next to the sea.
“The people who helped us put together our special day, Rebecca of Parfait and Aaron of PictureThis especially, were so kind and enthusiastic about everything. We honestly don’t think we could have found a better setting for our wedding.”
Their guests were wowed as well. “They couldn’t believe how beautiful the setting was and how absolutely perfect the ceremony and reception were. They are all hooked on the Cayman Islands now and will definitely be back!”
After a beach cookout the day after the wedding, their family and friends headed home. Sarah and Corbin honeymooned and created memories for a lifetime. “We never lacked for some amazing activity to do, but we could always find somewhere to relax and take it all in. Relaxing after snorkeling at Cemetery Beach was a definite favorite. As was dining on the deck at Morgan’s Harbor on our last night there. The memories of the Cayman Islands will stay with us forever.”
