Groom: Philip Watt, Technology Executive

Andrea and Philip knew a Caribbean wedding was in their future, especially since Philip proposed on a beach! They found the perfect setting on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman. Says Andrea, "We wanted as many friends and family to join us as possible. Grand Cayman had the widest range of affordable accommodations, plus the most flights."
With close to 100 guests joining them from all over the US, England, Scotland and Australia, The Reef Resort acted as "Wedding Central". Specializing in true vacation relaxation with spacious all-suite, oceanfront rooms, the laid back Resort provided an "opportunity for family and friends to spend quality time together and enjoy all the island has to offer," remembers Andrea. An array of activities were planned to allow both families and friends to get acquainted prior the actual wedding: group dinners at Grand Old House, Kaibo Yacht Club, The Wharf and Portofino, a fun rehearsal beach barbeque at The Reef Resort complete with entertainment provided by the legendary "Barefoot Man" and boating and snorkeling excursions to Stingray City.
Working with the islands high quality wedding providers made planning for Andrea seamless. "Our wedding coordinator was incredibly responsive and Celebrations created a fantasy beach ceremony complete with a draped archway and lighted tiki torches on the soft white sand at the Westin Casuarina Resort." For the sunset nuptials, Andrea wore a dreamy Angel Sanchez gown while Philip was in a Brooks Brothers custom tan suit. Family and friends celebrated with Andrea and Philip in the Westin's Galleon Ballroom under amber lighting while feasting on a delicious dinner of surf and turf, and then danced the night away to a live band. Both Andrea and Philip agree, "It was more than we could have asked for!"
