Graflex Housing

U.S.A. circa 1920-1930 – ISDHF Collection

This vintage housing is of unknown origin and houses the Graflex Series-C reflex camera. The Graflex Series-C is a single lens reflex camera allowing the photographer to view an upright image reflected from the lens onto a large ground glass screen. The large 2 ¼ by 3 ¼ negative produced highly detailed photographs. These cameras were popular with sports and outdoor photographers of the 1920’s and 1930’s. This housing appears to date from that period.
