Kittiwake Diving
Photo: Lawson Wood
Nearly a year ago on January 5, 2011, the Cayman Islands scuttled the Kittiwake, an ex-submarine rescue vessel, just off Seven Mile Beach to create an artificial reef. Since then, the Kittiwake has proven to be a popular snorkel and dive spot. Even the marine life has been moving in! Come January 2012, the dive community will mark the first anniversary of the Kittiwake. It will be a great time for a dive adventure to the Kittiwake or to any of the other incredible dive sites around Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. It's time to start planning your dive adventure getaway!

Seven Mile Beach
It's time to gear up for the annual 'Dashing Thru the Sand' run/walk that takes place on December 26.
This is a 1.5-mile event that courses along pristine Seven Mile on Grand Cayman. With soft, white sand underfoot, an unrestricted view of turquoise waters and soft, cooling breezes, there's probably no better place to run/walk off your holiday indulgences.

Race Day Registration takes place under the Hyatt Bridge at 6:30 to 7:15 am.

The starting point for the event is on beach near Hemingway's Restaurant, with the finish line (and breakfast, prizes and surprises) on the beach at Tiki Beach.
Bonnies Arch
Bonnie's Arch is Cayman's Arc de Triomphe, a majestic entrance leading divers into a metropolis rich in marine culture. Located on coral columns and obelisks, basket sponge stadiums and gorgonian trees form the landscape of this city populated by trumpetfish, hogfish, grunts, French angels, blue tangs and tarpon.
