CUSTOMS / IMMIGRATION
All arriving and departing international flights are to clear through either Owen Roberts International Airport (MWCR) or Charles KirkconnellInternational Airport (MWCB). There are no Customs, Immigration or Health facilities at Edward Bodden Airfield (MWCL).

CUBAN OVERFLIGHT PERMIT
Aeronautical Information Services at Owen Roberts and Charles Kirkconnell International Airports can obtain Cuban Overflight Permits at the cost of US$50.00. The request form can be obtained from the Cayman Islands Airports Authority website (www.caymanairports.com), and 48 hours are required prior to date and time of travel. After completion of the form it should be returned to the email address or fax number indicated on the form.
Aviators are highly encouraged to take part in our yearly Fly-In informational sessions featuring all they need to know when it comes to “winging it” in the Cayman Islands. Sessions cover a range of topics, including: the latest in aviation regulations, documents, charts, flight permits, safety gear and more.
