Cayman Islands Business as Usual

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, September 1, 2008 - The government of the Cayman Islands issued the All Clear from Hurricane Gustav for Grand Cayman
as of 12:00 p.m. EDT on August 30th and on the sister islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman as of 10:30 a.m. EDT on August 31st.

Grand Cayman
and for the most part Cayman Brac have returned to business as usual – the business of tranquil seas and plenty of sunshine. Owen Roberts International Airport and Gerrard Smith International Airport have already re-opened for inbound and outbound flights, allowing visitors to resume travel into those islands. Damage assessments are still underway in Little Cayman therefore the island is closed to visitors until further notice.

All travelers should check in with their planned airlines and hotel properties prior to arrival to reconfirm their reservations.
